California is one of the better states to retire in. A new report from WalletHub ranked all the states in retirement looking at 46 key indicators of retirement-friendliness, from financial factors like tax rates and the cost of living to things like access to quality medical care and fun activities. California overall ranked 17th – life expectancy in the Golden State ranks high. However, we ended up near the bottom for adjusted cost of living, annual cost of in-home services, and property-crime rate.
Unsurprisingly, Florida takes the top spot for retirees while Kentucky came in last.
