Montgomery High School health technician Rebecca Sullivan is among the people calling for the return of full-time school resource officers on Santa Rosa City Schools campuses. Sullivan called 911 after treating a 14-year-old girl who was assaulted in a bathroom last Tuesday. She tells the Press Democrat the student is going to be affected for the rest of her life. Sullivan was also the first person to attempt to treat a boy who was stabbed to death during a fight in an art class last March. Last month, there was a temporary school resource officer stationed at Montgomery High School for two weeks. Sullivan says that eased the tension and caused a clear shift in the campus atmosphere.
