Today, Santa Rosa’s Design Review Board will review a proposal for a large new housing complex in the northwest corner of the city, along Lance Drive and Guerneville Road. Nearly 800 homes and apartments would be built on 35 acres of land. If approved, it would be one of Santa Rosa’s largest housing projects in decades. Plans also call for building a nearly five-thousand-square-foot retail center. The Design Review Board is holding a special meeting at Santa Rosa City Hall at 4:30 p.m.
