SAY Nonprofit Cuts Jobs Amidst Financial Struggles

Jobs have been cut at a Santa Rosa nonprofit that helps youth experiencing homelessness and other crises. The Press Democrat reports that Social Advocates for Youth, or SAY, have cut about ten jobs as it struggles financially. That brings SAY’s total employees down to 69 from a high of 311 in 2016. The non-profit sent out an email this week that it had not reached its $1-million dollar funding goal put out earlier this month to stay open.
