Authorities are keeping close watch on the Russian River in Hopland. The river crested at nearly 18-and-a-half-feet at about 2:30 this morning. That’s more than three feet above its flood stage. Officials are warning of possible significant flooding on Highway 175 near the Russian River bridge. Minor flooding is also expected on Highway 222 near Ukiah. The river is not expected to peak at or above its flood stage in Healdsburg or Guerneville.
There was also moderate flooding on Green Valley Creek at Martinelli Road. The creek crested at nearly 64 and a half feet at about 10pm last night.
