Californians Warned Against Price Gouging During State of Emergency

This storm is triggering a consumer alert. The California attorney general reminds everyone that price gouging during a state of emergency is illegal. That includes housing, gas, food and other essential supplies. Rob Bonta is urging residents to stay safe and listen to guidance from local officials, especially when traveling. Several gas stations are out of service, either from power outages or because rain has shut down the pumps.
