Sonoma County Deputies have arrested a man on probation after a 22-mile car chase. Early Monday morning in Rohnert Park, a deputy tried to pull over a person who was driving a car with suspended vehicle registration and not using its headlights. However, the driver, later identified as 42-year-old Angel Espinoza of Santa Rosa, did not pull over and instead started leading the deputy on a pursuit on Highway 101 north into southeast Santa Rosa. Espinoza took Highway 12 westbound and drove through parts of western Santa Rosa, then drove into and around Sebastopol. He then drove back onto Highway 12 eastbound. Santa Rosa Police set up spike strips at Highway 12 and Fulton Road, which caused at least one of his tires to go flat and stopped the car. Espinoza got out of the car and was arrested.
