An elderly Sonoma woman has been identified as the deceased victim in a crash on Lakeville Highway last Thursday. Seventy-nine-year-old Beverly Kleven was reportedly driving north on Pine View in her SUV when she tried to turn left onto Lakeville going west. That’s when she was struck by a car going eastbound on Lakeville causing major side damage to Kleven’s vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The 22-year-old male driver of the car suffered minor injuries. Rainy weather doesn’t appear to be a factor, nor does drugs or alcohol.
