Tens of thousands of residents remain without power after heavy rain and strong winds slammed the North Bay. As of Tuesday night, 26-thousand customers are without power, which translates to about 80-thousand residents. Johannes Hoevertsz, Sonoma County’s director of public infrastructure, says this is “probably the worst we’ve seen” in terms of the number of trees and powerlines going down from a single storm. PG&E says it has documented damage to 368 of its poles and 214 of its transformers in its Northern and Central California service areas.
