The Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office is warning of a scam involving Costco. Costco members have been getting emails telling them their memberships have expired. As part of the store’s so-called loyalty program, the email offers them a chance to extend their accounts for 90 days for free. But, after signing up, members have to put their credit card details in. Authorities say this is a scam.
