A homeless man from Santa Rosa is behind bars on suspicion of vandalizing the Sonoma County Library. Benneth Amaechi, was arrested on Monday morning, after allegedly damaging doors and windows at the library with rocks on February 9th. Amaechi was recently confronted by police at the library. He was also on felony probation after a similar vandalism incident at a preschool in the South Park neighborhood last March.
