Petaluma High School’s annual talent show is cancelled due to what administrators call an inappropriate TikTok post. School officials say the video was made during a rehearsal for the talent show and posted about three weeks ago. In it, a group of boys who were going to perform in the show allegedly made jokes about kissing each other and about sexual functions. That’s what a member of the school’s Associated Student Body tells the Press Democrat. The student also says administrators called the boys’ behavior an example of “toxic masculinity.” The talent show is the main fundraiser for Petaluma High School’s senior prom.
