Today is the Last Day to Register to Vote for March Primary

Today is the last you can register to vote in the March 5th primary. To be eligible to register to vote, you must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years of age or older on Election Day, and not in prison for the conviction of a felony. You can check to see if you are registered using the California Secretary of State’s My Voter Status lookup tool or by calling the Sonoma County Registrar’s office. If your name, residence address, or political party preference is different from how you are currently registered, you should re-register. You can register online at RegisterToVote.CA.Gov or fill out a paper registration form at any post office or public library in Sonoma County. If you fill out a paper registration, it must be postmarked by today or dropped off inside the Registrar of Voters Office by 5 p.m.
