Weather Calming Down (A Bit) After Heavy Rains of Sunday and Monday

Bay Area residents continue to get battered by wet weather.  Hard rain and winds Monday led to issues all over the region, including Santa Rosa where multiple people reported trees slamming into their homes and apartment buildings, including a home on Madrona Knolls Road in Healdsburg. There were also multiple lightning strikes late in the evening. East Bay residents spent much of Monday searching for more sandbags as heavy downpours led to flooded streets.  There was also a tornado risk in that region for much of the day.
Today, Santa Rosa may see a half inch of rain while higher elevations could get over an inch. A Flood Watch is still in effect until 10 AM Wednesday.
