Authorities identified the 67-year-old Lake County woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle last week as she was crossing a Lake County road. April Kaye Magri was attempting to cross from the south to the north side of State Route 20 in Lake County Wednesday evening, when it was raining and dark. When Magri reached the eastbound lane, she was struck by an oncoming Buick going 40 mph. Medical personnel attempted to save her life but they were unsuccessful. She was pronounced dead on scene.
