A Santa Rosa man is behind bars after a house fire turned into a murder investigation. Fletcher Pinkham is accused of killing his own mother last week in Mendocino County and then burning down her home in an attempt to destroy the evidence. The 75-year-old woman’s remains were found three days later. Deputies found Pinkham’s car along with guns and ammunition in a wooded area nearby at the time of the fire.
