A beloved pair of wine brands in the Dry Creek Valley have been sold, as well as their tasting rooms and land. The property where Truett Hurst and their partner label VML had their tasting rooms has been sold to Aesthete Wines.
“As far as an opening date, we are not quite set on yet,” said Lukas Westman, Wine Specialist for Aesthete Wines. “We are hoping at the latest by early April.”
Westman says their purchase of the property does not include the Truett Hurst or VML brands, which have been sold to a different party. Winemaker Jess Katz and brothers Jeff and Peter Jones are committed to the sustainability of the site, and will continue to protect the watershed. Westman says that they plan on making some updates to the property, including the addition of a culinary program, but the iconic creek side picnic area will still be open to guests.
