An annual report of Measure O shows an increase in funds for essential homeless and mental health services. The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors say that for fiscal year 2022–23, Measure O provided over $22 million dollars in funding for projects and programs, and ended the fiscal year with a fund balance of $31 million. Among several specific impacts, over 300 people were housed in residential care facilities for an average stay of 247 days, 74 people were placed in housing, and over 1,100 people were aided by the Crisis Stabilization Unit. The report also highlighted many initiatives in the works, including opening a new permanent supportive housing facility in Guerneville and expanding youth drug and alcohol treatment services.
