There is new information about a mother and her young son who were found dead in their apartment in Santa Rosa last Wednesday. On Monday, police identified the pair as 54-year-old Cinthya Salcido Fimbres and her ten-year-old son, Maximus Monroy. While autopsy results have not been released, detectives say the mother appears to have died from “self-inflicted wounds caused by a cutting instrument.” Her son did not have any visible injuries. The mother and son were found dead in a bathroom, though police say there was blood in several rooms.
