Pedal confusion is believed to be the cause of an SUV crashing into the side of the downtown Petaluma Bank of America building. It happened late Sunday morning when a Rohnert Park woman accidentally ran into the building causing her minor injuries. The 51-year-old driver was treated at the hospital and released. The SUV had front-end damage which caused the airbags to deploy. The building only suffered minor damage.
