The Santa Rosa Police Department is ending its online effort to bring attention to local missing persons cases. For the past six weeks, the department has been using social media, posting the names, photos and last known locations of people considered missing. The initiative led to police confirming the whereabouts of three people who had been considered missing. The SRPD had more than 30 missing persons cases when the online campaign started. Detectives have been getting tips and are following leads about several of the people still considered missing.
