Body Cam Footage Released from Deadly Deputy Involved Shooting and Chase

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office has released body camera footage from a deadly deputy-involved shooting on March 4th. The suspect, armed with an AK-47, fired at deputies more than 50 times. The video begins with deputies making contact with the man, shortly after he flashed a gun outside of a nightclub in Santa Rosa. The ensuing chase ended in a crash and a shootout that left the suspect dead and four deputies injured. One deputy was accidentally run over by a fellow deputy. He remains hospitalized with head injuries and burns.
