A suspected DUI driver has been arrested after a major crash in a Rohnert Park Intersection. Early Sunday morning, a car and truck crashed into each other at the intersection of Rohnert Park Expressway and Commerce Boulevard. The male driver in the car suffered major injuries to his lower extremities. Meanwhile, a passenger in the truck suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a hospital. Another passenger in the truck was uninjured. The driver of the truck, 44-year-old Maria Valencia, showed signs and symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol and had a blood alcohol content of nearly twice the legal limit. She was treated for an injury at a hospital before being arrested. The traffic signals at the intersection were functioning properly, but it is not known which driver had the right- of-way.
