Petaluma police are looking for a suspect who attacked a teenager with a broken piece of glass. On Friday afternoon, a 17-year-old boy was on a basketball court in the 100 block of Fairgrounds Drive in Petaluma when a man jumped a chain linked fence and attacked him. The suspect slashed the teen with a broken piece of glass, that was partially wrapped in duct tape to act as a handle. The teen said the attack was unprovoked and he didn’t know who the suspect was. The suspect was described as a white male adult, older in age, with long grey or black hair, and was wearing an orange SF Giants hat, green flannel shirt and blue jeans. The victim sustained a minor injury that did not require any medical attention.
