The wife of Sonoma County Sheriff Eddie Engram has been sentenced for DUI after crashing into a house in Santa Rosa last May. On Monday, a judge sentenced Natasha Whittinghill-Engram to three years of probation and 480 hours of volunteer work. She was given volunteer work instead of work release, because work release would have required her to work with other inmates. The court viewed that as a safety concern because she’s married to the sheriff. Whittinghill-Engram must also pay eight-thousand-dollars in restitution to the owners of the house she crashed into.
