Jury deliberations are underway in the trial of two men accused of murder after a shooting outside of a bar in Roseland. The shooting, which happened outside of the Whiskey Tip bar in September of 2021, left a 27-year-old man dead. The defense says the men opened fire in the parking lot out of self-defense. The prosecution says it was revenge for a shooting that happened outside of another bar in 2018, in which the victim of the 2021 shooting shot one of the suspects in the leg. The jury was handed the case on Tuesday afternoon. Each suspect is facing life in prison, if convicted of first-degree murder and other charges.
