Santa Rosa Police have arrested a man for having an illegal firearm at Bellevue Ranch Park. Yesterday evening, police conducting a security check approached a parked vehicle and noticed the odor of fresh burnt cannabis and saw a glass smoking pipe in the vehicle. They asked the three passengers if any of them were armed and one admitted to having a loaded handgun. Twenty-two-year-old Pablo Olivares-Hernandez was removed from the vehicle and detained after police found a loaded Glock handgun. The gun was registered to Hernandez but he was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm and having a concealed firearm in a vehicle.
