March Primary Election Being Certified By Sonoma County Election Officials Today

Sonoma County is planning to certify its primary election results today. County elections chief Deva Proto says the voter turnout reached 50 percent, outpacing the state’s average voter turnout of 34 percent. It’s still the second lowest voter turnout in Sonoma County in the past six presidential primaries, which have an average local voter turnout of 64 percent. The state is scheduled to certify election results on April 12th.
