Measles Cases Up Across North Bay and Bay Area

North Bay and Bay Area health officials are warning residents about an uptick in measles cases. The CDC says, as of last Thursday, there have been 97 confirmed measles cases across 18 states so far this year. That’s compared with 58 cases nationwide in all of last year. Most of the cases have been in children younger than the age of five and in unvaccinated or partially vaccinated people. Nine in ten cases have been connected with international travel.
