Great Redwood Trail Agency Map

Plans are in the works to give California the longest rail trail in the nation. It would stretch 300-miles on the north coast, becoming a top outdoor destination for hikers, backpackers, bicyclists and horseback riders. The Great Redwood Trail route traces an old rail line through forests and river canyons of Humboldt, Trinity and Mendocino counties. Some parts pass through small towns, mountain tunnels and across bridges.
