PG&E executives are getting a bigger paycheck. The utility paid its CEO and other key executives even more in 2023. The news comes after PG&E’s recent rate hike and rising profits. The Utility Reform Network says customers are outraged by the increases and have a right to be upset. In a statement, the company says their executives’ compensation was tied to making “improvements in safety, operational and financial performance that PG&E achieved in 2023.”
