The search for a teenager who went missing while swimming in the Russian River is restarting this morning. Several agencies responded last night after the child disappeared while swimming with a friend at Steelhead Beach north of Forestville. Rescuers pulled the second teen out but suspended the search after hours of looking in boats and on jet skis. Sonoma County fire officials say the Russian River can be dangerous this time of year due to the water moving fast and still at a high level.
