The average price of a gallon of regular gas in Sonoma County continues to climb. It is now up to $5.73. That’s two cents more than Sunday, 14 cents more than a week ago and 70 cents more than a month ago. A year ago, the average was $5.06 per gallon. California’s current average is $5.46 per gallon. The cheapest gas in Sonoma County is at the 7-11 station on College Avenue, where a gallon of unleaded is $4.79.
