A 65-year-old man who was hit by an SUV while running across a street in Santa Rosa earlier this month is dead. Santa Rosa police confirm the Forestville resident died in a hospital on Sunday, eight days after the collision. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. The pedestrian was not in a crosswalk or intersection with traffic lights or stop signs at the time. This is Santa Rosa’s second pedestrian death of the year.
