A man who led Sonoma County Deputies on a pursuit has finally been arrested six days later. On April 7th, a deputy pulled over a vehicle in the northwest Santa Rosa area for turning without using a blinker and having an expired registration. The driver, identified as 38-year-old Marco Aguilar, refused to roll down his window or open the door and eventually drove away. A chase ensued during which Aguilar drove over 70 miles-per-hour, ran a stop sign, and drove in the wrong lane. Deputies lost sight of him and couldn’t find his vehicle again until this past Saturday, when it was seen parked in a motel parking lot on the 3000 block of Cleveland Avenue. After confirming his room, a deputy arrested Aguilar after using a key provided by motel staff.
