Petaluma Man with 5 DUI Convictions Arrested for DUI Again

A Petaluma man with 5 prior DUI convictions within the past 10 years has been arrested again for DUI. On April 6th, a Petaluma police officer pulled over a vehicle with equipment violations and driving as if the driver was impaired. The driver, 34-year-old Pedro Santiago-Ventura, was on felony probation for those past DUI convictions. Ventura submitted to a Breathalyzer test which registered a blood alcohol content of nearly three times the legal limit. He was arrested for felony DUI, driving on a suspended license, and probation violation.
