A 22-year-old Rohnert Park man has been identified as the driver who died in a Lakeville Highway crash on April 16th. The crash occurred just outside of Petaluma and claimed the life of Angel Avalos. He was driving northbound just south of Old Lakeville Road No. 3 when he swerved to avoid stopped traffic. Avalos hit the car in front of him and overturned into the southbound lane where he was then struck by an SUV. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Four people inside the car Avalos hit were taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries.
