The old home of Willie Bird’s Restaurant will soon have a new life. The Press Democrat reports that Chandi Hospitality will open a Mountain Mike’s Pizza in June after months of rehabbing the 4600-square-foot building on Santa Rosa Avenue. It comes as another Mountain Mike’s Pizza owned by Chandi Hospitality is closing less than a mile away at the Santa Rosa Marketplace. Their last day is May 26th. It’s also reported that the new space may see further development with plans to build 30 to 40 apartments and a retail shop.
