Santa Rosa Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run; Suspect Still on the Loose

Santa Rosa Police are looking for a pickup truck driver involved in a hit-and-run of a motorcyclist. Yesterday afternoon, witnesses say that a motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Hopper Avenue with a green light. A gray or silver Ford F150 made a left turn in front of the motorcycle from westbound Hopper, trying to turn to south onto Airway. The truck hit the motorcycle with its front end and kept driving, leaving the motorcyclist lying in the roadway. The victim is now hospitalized and their condition is unknown. Police are trying to locate the driver and the truck, saying the vehicle likely has front end damage.
