More than 200 people attended Thursday’s pro-Palestinian demonstration at Santa Rosa Junior College. The event was organized by the SRJC Middle Eastern North African Association Student Club. Students and faculty, waving Palestinian flags and holding signs, marched to the edge of campus and gathered along Mendocino Avenue. There, they condemned the Israel-Hamas war and the killing of civilians in Gaza. The demonstrators want an immediate cease fire in the conflict, an end to U.S military aid to Israel and more protections for Palestinian rights.
