A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a car in a Rohnert Park intersection. Last night around 10:30 PM, a Chevy Malibu was headed north on Redwood Drive at the intersection of Business Park Drive while a 21-year-old male motorcyclist was traveling south on Redwood Drive approaching the same intersection. The car turned left in front of the motorcycle causing the motorcycle to hit the car’s side. Emergency personnel arrived within minutes of the crash and started to treat the motorcyclist. However, he was pronounced dead at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. The female driver and two passengers of the car were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol is not a factor and police are still investigating the crash and trying to determine who had the right of way.
