The California Highway Patrol is investigating an alleged DUI crash that left a woman dead and another woman injured west of Santa Rosa. The crash happened just before 5:40 Monday morning, east of State Route 116. Investigators say one of the drivers was hit head-on by a car going the wrong way on Guerneville Road. The other driver, another woman, is hospitalized with moderate injuries. Authorities believe the surviving driver was under the influence of drugs. CHP officers found suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia in her car.
