A public forum is scheduled for this Friday to review the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office on ICE data access. The meeting will focus on when the Sheriff’s Office Detention Division provided information about certain incarcerated persons to federal immigration authorities. The forum is scheduled for 3 p.m. this Friday during a special meeting of the Board of Supervisors in the Board Chambers. It will be streamed on Zoom but those in attendance will only be able to address the Board. The Sheriff’s Office does not conduct immigration enforcement. Additionally, while the Board of Supervisors is legally required to hold this forum, they will not take any formal action.
