An auction house featured on “Antiques Roadshow” is returning to Sonoma County. Witherell Auction House is opening a satellite office in Windsor at the Tynan Building on Windsor River Road. Brian Witherell, co-owner of Witherell Auction House, tells the North Bay Business Journal that they hope to have their first sale in October featuring locally sourced objects. Those could include Pomo Indian baskets and California paintings of regional places such as Sonoma and Marin counties. Witherell Auction House originally opened in Healdsburg in 1969 by now-retired Brad Witherell who eventually moved the company to Sacramento in 1996.
