A Santa Rosa man driving in Ukiah has been accused of leading police on a chase that ended in a crash. On Monday night, Ukiah police responded to a report of a car horn honking, revving the engine, and acting erratic in the Vichy Springs area. While headed to the area, an officer came across the suspected car and pursued it leading to a high speed chase. It ended when the car crashed into a concrete retaining wall, as well as a parked vehicle outside a home at West Perkins Street and Highland Avenue. The suspect, Daniel Risch, suffered major injuries and is in the hospital.
