The woman who died in an early Monday morning crash near Santa Rosa has been identified. Fifty-six-year-old Maria Jimenez Rosas of Santa Rosa was driving westbound in her SUV on Guerneville Road near Laguna Road when an SUV from the opposite side crossed the double yellow lines and crashed into her. Rosas was pronounced dead at the scene. CHP says the other driver, also a woman, appeared to be under the influence at the time and had drugs and drug paraphernalia in her SUV. She is expected to be arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter once released from the hospital.
