A man was found dead late Monday inside an unapproved Santa Rosa tiny home that caught fire. Firefighters located the man just after 8:50 p.m. inside the home on Hampton Way. Crews put out the blaze following an “aggressive fire attack.” The man was pronounced dead in the 8-by-20-foot home, which was destroyed. Paul Lowenthal, Division Chief Fire Marshal with the Santa Rosa Fire Department, says the investigation is ongoing. The Sonoma County Coroner will identify the man after his family is contacted and an autopsy scheduled for Wednesday.
