2024 Summer Reading graphic (Sonoma County Library)
The Sonoma County Library is launching their annual Summer Reading program this Saturday, June 1st, and it will run until August 10th. The library is challenging the community to read 20 minutes each day over the summer to earn books and win prizes. Those could include toys to telescopes to a membership to the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. Over 4,000 Sonoma County residents participated in the Summer Reading program last year and the library expects more participants this year. While many participants are children, the program is open to all ages.
