Petaluma City Schools Superintendent Matthew Harris announced he is taking a leave from the 2024-25 school year to travel and focus on family. The district will bring in Dr. Esmerelda Mondragon and Dr. Louann Corlomagno, two former superintendents in Calistoga and Hillsborough. They will lead as the acting, part-time superintendents. The pair are set to be introduced at the school board’s June 18 meeting. Harris will remain in place for Petaluma’s graduations and for a smooth transition into new leadership.
