State Farm Makes a Concession to California Policy Holders… With a Catch

There’s a surprise development in California’s insurance crisis. State Farm says some homeowners can keep their coverage after all, but there’s a catch. The company wasn’t planning to renew about 30-thousand policies mostly due to the risk of wildfires and fires after earthquakes. But customers were just told they won’t lose insurance if they sign up for fire coverage through the state’s FAIR plan, known as the insurer of last resort.
